Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education.

It is one of the international projects in which the Special Education and Pedagogy Laboratory participated, funded by the Erasmus+ Sport program (now Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership Key Action 2 – KA2), which enables organizations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities, to develop and strengthen their partner networks, and to increase their capacity to work jointly transnationally.

Objectives
The aim of the project is to introduce and develop innovative and interdisciplinary methods of working with children aged 5-10 years, including children with special educational needs. in order to increase the skills of teachers and university students in the field of innovative teaching methodologies that promote and support students’ cognitive, motor, emotional and social-moral development by combining the learning process with physical activity.

Activities
The project will train university teachers and students on innovative teaching methodologies, providing them with the necessary skills to work with preschool and elementary school children. Innovative educational materials, including videos and a book, will be produced to support the training. The results of the project will be disseminated nationally and internationally through seminars, while the website and social media will ensure long-term promotion.

Impact
The project will help strengthen the skills of teachers and students through the adoption of innovative, micro-credential-certified teaching methods. Among the main outcomes will be the publication of the book “Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Kindergarten and Primary Schools” and the course program “Learning by Moving!” The integration of interdisciplinary strategies based on physical activity aims to create more dynamic, engaging and effective educational environments.
