Presentation

The University of Rome “Foro Italico” is a young and dynamic public university with a long tradition behind it.

Founded in 1928 as the Academy of Physical Education, it has always focused on Sports, Science and Health as closely related research and teaching themes. A unique case in Italy.

Rome’s fourth university is a small university where students, faculty, researchers and administrative technical staff experience an exclusive and direct daily relationship.

In the red and white buildings of the Foro Italico complex, facing, on one side, the Lungotevere and the Duca D’Aosta Bridge and, on the other, the Stadio dei Marmi and the Olympic Stadium, young people are being trained to compete internationally in all areas of sports as athletes, but also as sports managers, researchers and teachers, and experts in sports marketing and communication.

There are numerous science laboratories, where faculty and researchers daily discuss innovative research projects, without which it is not possible to do good teaching and affect the development of civil society.

This is where professionals are trained who are increasingly in demand in our society, where sports are considered an integral part of culture, people’s lifestyles and the world economy.

This is truly the right place where a girl and boy of our time, who love sports and believe in its values, can realize their vocation and gain satisfaction from a human and professional point of view.

The University of Rome “Foro Italico” is the university where you can realize your dreams.
