The Vice Rector, appointed by the Rector from among the professors and professors of the first rank, replaces the Rector in all his functions in cases of the latter’s impediment or absence.

He is appointed by Rectoral Decree and his term of office coincides with that of the Rector, as well as that of any other Vice Chancellors and Delegates.

For the six-year term 2019-2025, the Chancellor appointed:

Vice chancellor Fabio Pigozzi, full professor of Internal Medicine and head of the Sports Medicine Laboratory in the Department of Human and Health Sciences.

Pro-rector Gennaro Terracciano, full professor of Administrative Law in the Department of Human and Health Sciences.
