Transparent administration

The University of Rome “Foro Italico,” in application of the Legislative Decree No. 33 of March 14, 2013. (“Reorganization of the regulations concerning the obligations of public disclosure, transparency and dissemination of information by public administrations”), updated pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 97 of May 25, 2016, provided for the reorganization of this section with the aim of:

  • make known, through the institutional website, information relating to every aspect of the organization and activity of the University in order to encourage widespread forms of control over the pursuit of institutional functions and the use of public resources;
  • Information and computer coordination of data to meet the needs for uniformity in the way information is coded and represented and its subsequent reprocessing;
  • to define, also for specific sectors and types of data, the quality requirements of the information disseminated, identifying in particular the necessary adjustments with its own regulations, validation procedures, controls including substitution, professional skills required for the management of information, as well as the assurance and correction mechanisms that can be activated at the request of anyone with an interest.

 

For this last specific aspect, there is also the institution ofCivil Access (Article 5 of Legislative Decree No. 33/2013), which entails the right of anyone to request the publication of documents, information and data in cases where their publication has been omitted.
