The Educational Planning Service oversees the set of administrative processes and procedures related to the definition of the University’s educational offerings, in the phases of planning, establishment, accreditation and activation of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
The Structure also coordinates and manages procedures related to postgraduate specialist and professional training activities, as well as continuing and continuing education courses, in adherence to the principles of the Quality Assurance system.
The Service acts as an interlocutor with the Governing Bodies and with the structures that collaborate in various capacities on educational offerings, providing specialized input in the design of offerings at the various levels.
Activities
- Management of the MUR U-Gov database and ESSE3 University Teaching Regulations and Annual Educational Offerings.
- Management of the MUR SUA-CdS database and support for the compilation of related forms
- Production and publication of the annual Manifesto of Studies
- Administrative support to Courses of Study for the planning and delivery of teaching activities
- Participation in the design/revision of educational offerings.
- Collaboration with the academic bodies for the procedures for the establishment and activation of Courses of Study and for amendments to the educational regulations and rules (University Teaching Regulations, Regulations of Study Courses, Regulations of Master Courses)
- Implementation of sustainability analysis of training projects (faculty and facilities)
- Planning and organizational management of postgraduate courses
- Support for consultation with Social Partners and the implementation of agreements with local entities and companies aimed at the development of training projects
- Management of student paperwork: transfers, recognition of exams taken and CFUs acquired at other institutions
- Supporting management in processes to improve the quality of educational offerings and student services
- Management of electronic bulletin boards for student and faculty communications
- Management of the University portal pages related to courses of study, teaching, and the Moodle learning support platform
The Teaching Secretariat
- Develops and publishes academic calendars;
- handles student administrative paperwork and provides informational and organizational support to intra- and extra- academic faculty;
- Assists students with registrations and reservations for exams and Optional Educational Activities (AFS);
- Manages electronic bulletin boards for communication to students and faculty.

- SFA validations conducted at other location
- Recognition of examinations held at other location
- readmission to degree programs/career shortening
- class formations – section changes and insertions
