Graduating

Graduating

The graduation sessions scheduled for each academic year and published in the teaching calendars of individual courses of study are three:

  1. summer, generally in mid-July
  2. autumn, generally in mid-October
  3. Winter, generally between late March and mid-April

The graduation procedure involves two necessary and consequential administrative steps:

  1. reservation, to be activated at the times indicated in the appropriate notices published in the Notices of the homepage
    • in early April for the summer session
    • In mid-June for the fall session
    • In late September for the winter session
  2. admission, to be activated at the times indicated in the appropriate notice published in the Notices on the homepage
    • at the end of May for the summer session
    • In late August for the fall session
    • In late January for the winter session

It is necessary:

  • Verify that you are current with your tuition payments
  • Verify that all exams taken-including SFAs and internship-are recorded in their private area according to the study manifesto/plan. All course credits (CFUs), except those for the final exam, must, therefore, be passed and recorded:
      • by the first call of the summer and fall proficiency exam session if you graduate in these sessions respectively;
      • by the second call of the winter examination session if you graduate this session.

Those who graduate in the winter session are not required to pay the first installment (regional fee and stamp duty), the second and third installment of registration for the current year, even if charged and present in the reserved area. Only in the case of not graduating in the winter session, the current year’s enrollment must be regularized by submitting the ISEE by November 30 or by December 31 at the latest (with relative late fees charged), the payment of the first and second installment (with relative late fees charged thereafter) and the third installment by April 30. In case the installments are not available in the restricted area, you can request their disbursement by writing to segreteria.studenti@uniroma4.it.
