The University of Rome “Foro Italico,” aware of the reduced availability of primary resources and the slowdown in economic growth, has decided to take the path toward rationalizing its energy consumption and producing energy from renewable and clean sources.

The goals and initiatives undertaken and planned in the short, medium and long term in the field of environmental sustainability, based on L.D. March 1, 2022, no. 17 converted into Law no. April 27, 2022, no. 34 and specifically Art. 19-quater, are embodied in the Operational Plan for Energy Savings (P.O.R.E.), which aims to improve energy efficiency and decrease consumption in the University’s facilities and buildings.

The University is also committed to preparing an annual Home-work travel plan, which promotes sustainable mobility.
