The University of Rome “Foro Italico” organizes various training activities for teachers of schools of different levels, designed and organized by CIDiF – Center for Teaching Innovation and Training, including in particular:
- the training course for obtaining specialization in educational support activities for pupils with disabilities, known as TFA support
- i training courses for teaching qualification in secondary school of first and second grade from 30 and 60 CFU(DPCM August 4, 2023) with respect to the competition classes A 048 and A 049
- Continuing education initiatives for teachers of schools of all levels, including in collaboration with the GLEF-Working Group on Physical Education..
The CIDiF – Center for Instructional Innovation and Training, established by R.D. No. 395 dated 08/11/2023 and coordinated by Prof. Angela Magnanini, is in charge of organizing and promoting initial teacher training in the A 048 and A 049 competitive classes.

TFA support
The training, theoretical-practical, TFA support course refers to Ministerial Decree No. 249 of Sept. 10, 2010, and Ministerial Decree Sept. 30, 2011, and, once completed, enables one to obtain the qualification necessary to become a support teacher and to participate in school competitions on the specific support position.
The entire course consists of 60 undergraduate credits (CFUs), to be acquired within 8 months of its commencement.
Access to the course is governed by a special Notice of Competition.
Currently, the selection is open for the 9th cycle.
Training courses for teaching qualification in secondary schools
TheUniversity of Rome “Foro Italico” has been accredited by the Ministry of University and Research, with a note dated 7.02.2024, No. 375, to provide training courses for teaching qualification in the first and second grade secondary school of 30 and 60 CFUs with regard to two classes of competition:
- A 048 – Motor and sport sciences in secondary II GRADE education (Director: Prof. Angela Magnanini)
- A 049 – Motor and sports sciences in I GRADE secondary education (Director: Prof. Emanuele Isidori)
Access to the training tracks is regulated by special calls for applications, which are published annually.
Pathways include theoretical disciplines, laboratory activities and internship hours aimed at acquiring and enhancing professional skills related to instructional design and methodologies, learning assessment, and the use of technology for teaching.
