The Bachelor’s Degree Course in Sports and Physical Education (class L-22) at the University of Rome “Foro Italico” provides a solid theoretical and practical grounding in physical education, sport and mental and physical wellbeing.
An evolution of the previous ISEF diploma, the course integrates teaching in the areas of physical education and sport, biomedicine, law and economics, and psychology and pedagogy, promoting a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach.
The curriculum is enriched by extensive practical placements and strong links with the world of sport, thanks to collaboration with organisations and federations, including CONI. Graduates acquire the skills to design and manage personalised physical activities tailored to age, gender and physical condition, working in educational, recreational and sporting contexts. The programme is complemented by optional modules (AFS – Elective Training Activities), placements and a final dissertation, ensuring flexibility and specialisation. Those interested may join the Dual Career scheme, which enables student-athletes and sports professionals to balance their sporting careers with university education.
