Central Administration

TheUniversity’s Central Administration is organized into the following structural levels of responsibility:

  • Management: a complex apical structure consisting of Areas, Offices and Services coordinated by a Manager;
  • Area: an organizational unit with first-level responsibility, usually conferred on personnel belonging to the High Professionalism, or belonging to the area of Officials if they possess adequate professionalism;
  • Service: an organizational unit dedicated to providing services and assistance to students and users within the University, responsibility for which is given to personnel belonging to the area of Officials, depending on the degree of autonomy and responsibility required;
  • Secretariats: units of direct cooperation of the Governing Bodies, responsibility for which is given to personnel belonging to the area of Officials;
  • Office: an organizational unit with second-level responsibility, given to personnel belonging to the area of Officials or Collaborators;
  • Center: a structure that because of the peculiarity of the activity and/or the specificity of the expertise required can hinge on an organizational structure or be endowed with its own autonomy.

General Affairs and Human Resources Department

The General Affairs and Human Resources Department, divided into areas and offices, is one of the three management areas of the University.

Directorate of Instruction and Student Services

The Teaching and Student Services Department, Is responsible for the coordination and management of the University’s activities and services for students/students and undergraduate/graduate students.

Accounting Finance and Management Control Department

The Accounting, Finance and Management Control Department, which is divided into several offices, is responsible for recording general accounting transactions and preparing financial statements.

Research and Doctoral Area

The research conducted within the department focuses on a crucially important area: the study of human movement. This investigation extends to all its manifestations.

Infrastructure and Security Area

The University Infrastructure and Safety Area is primarily concerned with the planning, design and execution of works, services and supplies.

Athenaeum Library

The Library is a service facility to support the teaching and research activities carried out at the university and makes paper and electronic collections available to the university community.

Secretariats

The Chancellor’s and Executive Secretariats, coordinating with each other, support the University’s top management in all their functions.

Support of the University's Nucleus of Evaluation

The Athenaeum Evaluation Board relies on the support of a specific office to carry out all its activities.
