You can search the entire library holdings or only a specific section: books, doctoral dissertations, periodicals, audiovisuals, Historical Fund. Simply select the relevant filter above the single-field search bar.
The catalog allows users to search the library’s print and audiovisual collections:
- More than 6,000 modern monographs pertaining to the exercise sciences;
- About 2,800 volumes of print periodicals pertaining to exercise science;
- About 1,000 volumes in the Historical Fund;
- all issues, from 1977 to 1998, of the periodical of applied science in physical and sports education Alcmeone, the official journal of the State Higher Institute of Physical Education in Rome;
- a rich and exclusive audiovisual collection of about 200 commercial DVDs and VHSs on sports and physical education and 230 DVDs and VHSs produced by the Audiovisual and Multimedia Office (formerly the University Audiovisual Production Center), bearing witness to some lectures by faculty members and major institutional events since the 1980s, which can be viewed on the social channels YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, the digital platform Vimeo and the institutional channels Stream and the University Intranet;
- a small section of sports cinematography with a collection of 60 DVDs;
- CD doctoral dissertations from the 20th cycle onward (a.y. 2004-2007), excluded from the loan.
Online catalog registration
The catalog is open access, but in order to take advantage of the lending services, it is it is necessary to register.
To register, click on the “Login” button in the upper right corner, then “Not registered yet?” and enter the required personal information, attaching a scan of your ID.
Already registered users can access their restricted area through SPID credentials.
From your user space you will be able to:

- View the status of their loans;
