Students, who carry out or have carried out awork activity congruent with the training and skills acquired during the course of study, may request its recognition if provided for by the regulations of the degree course they belong to and according to the procedures defined by the Internship and Job Placement Service.
You can make this request only if you are regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree program or the 2nd year of the master’s degree program. The hours performed of work activity for which recognition is sought must correspond at least to the hours of attendance required by the internship of the degree program to which they belong. Therefore, if the hours required by the internship are 125 and the hours of work performed are 124, recognition cannot be requested; while if the hours of work performed are 125, recognition can be requested.
The hours worked must be indicated, under one’s own responsibility, in the descriptive report of the work performed, which, together with the contract must be attached to the application.
If thework activity is ongoing, the number of hours worked at the time the work activity report is prepared should be indicated.
The complete and correct application must be entered, by filling out the appropriate form, in the “student files” section of the Restricted Area at least 21 days before the date of the verbatim call to which one intends to book.
It is mandatory to attach to the application:
- The sports collaboration contract or similar (for work activities carried out after 01.07.2023)
- the letter of appointment for direct performance of amateur sports activities (or contract) for activities carried out before 01.07.2023
- The report of the work activity (refer to the document “Guidelines”)
Recognition of internships
Students, who have attended one or more internships than provided for in the regulations of the degree programs activated by the University, may request their recognition by accessing the procedure indicated below.

Procedure
- Access the portal Sharepoint/Student Practices., using the institutional e-mail;
- Complete the “Application for Recognition of Internship/Working Activities” form indicating:
- Request type → Recognition of work activity or Recognition of internship or redundant work activity
- student/student name → the name of the applicant
- student/student’s last name → the applicant’s last name
- student/student freshman → the applicant’s freshman number
- CFUs required → educational credits required
- degree program → the degree program for which recognition is sought
- attachments → the forms and documents required for approval
- For the recognition of work activities attach to the application compulsorily
- The employment contract (for work activities performed after July 1, 2023);
- the letter of appointment or contract for direct performance of amateur sports activities (for work activities carried out before July 1, 2023);
- Report of the activity carried out as outlined in the attached Guidelines.
- For recognition of redundant internships attach mandatory:
- the “Internship Activation Form + statino (Training Project)” duly signed in both the activation part and the final wall (statino) signed by the teacher. If not in possession of the document, request it at tirocinio.lavoro@uniroma4.it;
- The internship diary signed by the Company Tutor.
- the Internship and Job Placement Service will check the documentation and approve or deny the administrative correctness of the application. If the evaluation is negative, the system will send an e-mail to the student with the reasons for rejection. If the evaluation is positive, the system will transfer the file to the faculty.
- Teachers, having verified the content of the activity performed, will approve or not approve the application. Students and female students will receive the instructions for career placement..
