La Accounting, Finance and Management Control Department, which is divided into several offices, is responsible for recording general accounting operations and preparing budgetary accounting documents, in particular, it coordinates the process of planning and balancing the single budget in economic and financial accounting and the administrative-accounting process related to the practices of budget variations and expenditure authorization, verifies the execution of the fulfillments related to tax and social security aspects.
It manages the active and passive cycle and takes care of the scheduling and monitoring of cash flows, treasury operations, the preliminary activity to the cash audits carried out by the Board of Auditors, as well as any other activity functional to the management of the University’s cash.
Provides economic procurement, functional for the activities of the Central Administration offices and the Department (traditional procedures and e-procurement tools) and inventory loading and unloading activities.
Within the Directorate, theAccounting, Budget and Management Control Office is also in charge of the settlement of scholarships and awards to deserving students.
Through theSalaries Office (in collaboration with the Human Resources and Organization Area), it is responsible for determining the payroll for all staff in terms of tax and social security aspects (tax deductions, family allowance, tax and social security adjustments) and the issuance of certifications for tax returns.
Through theMissions Office, it manages the authorization and settlement phases of missions of University employees and external staff.
