Course presentation and objectives

The Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and Management, now in its fourth edition, is an inter-university training program sponsored by the University of Udine, theUniversity of Rome “Foro Italico” and the University of Bari Aldo Moro.

The program offers a unique opportunity to acquire advanced skills in sports management, combining economic, legal and organizational aspects with an ethical and social view of sports.

Objectives and structure of the Master’s program
The Master’s program is designed to train professionals capable of working in sports, both at the amateur and professional level.

Through a multidisciplinary approach that includes theoretical lectures, case study analysis, and testimonies from industry experts, participants will develop managerial and management skills applied to sports.

Modalities and venues
The Master’s program involves a blended teaching mode, with 80 percent of the lectures online and the remaining 20 percent in-person at partner universities’ venues:

  • University of Udine
  • University of Rome “Foro Italico”
  • University Sports Center (CUS) of Bari

 

Classes are held on Thursdays, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, for about 3 weeks per month, ensuring that training can be combined with other professional commitments. A minimum attendance of 70 percent of teaching activities is required.

The Level II Master’s degree is aimed at:

  • professionals already active in the management of sports organizations who are interested in deepening their skills.
  • recent master’s graduates and people undergoing professional reinvention who wish to pursue a career in sports management.

Entry requirements are a bachelor’s, master’s or old-school degree.

It is also possible to enroll in individual teaching modules, subject to evaluation of professional experience.

Duration of the Master’s program and schedule of activities
Teaching activities will take place from May 2025 to January 2026, with subsequent completion of the training internships, leading to the completion of the course by May 2026.

The Master’s course has received the patronage of CONI – Friuli-Venezia Giulia Regional Committee and FIGC/LND and has Udinese Calcio and Istituto di Credito Sportivo as partners. Costs and benefits

The registration fee is set at:

– €4,500 for Master’s degree level II

Payment can be made in two installments, and there is an option to enroll in individual educational modules.

In addition, 8 scholarships of €750.00 each are available to reduce the cost of attendance. These concessions will be applied against the second installment of the application fee and cannot be combined with other financial concessions.

The Master’s program provides the following facilities:

  • enrollment expenses can be included on the 730 form and entitle you to a 19% deduction;
  • teachers can take advantage of the Teacher’s Card: instructions on payment procedures with the Teacher’s Card can be found on the dedicated page;
  • employees can apply to their employer for 150 hours of right-to-study leave for their own education.
