The Innovation Lab project aims to transform learning and teaching in higher education (HE) through innovative practices. Underlying this is the need for in-depth reflection on the quality of teaching, paying particular attention to methodologies, assessment strategies and accessibility for all students. The pandemic has highlighted deficiencies in teacher training, highlighting the urgency of a more inclusive educational model based on Universal Design principles and personalization of learning.

To meet this challenge, InnovaLab is introducing two key tools: ConnectU, a virtual advisor based on artificial intelligence that will support teachers in instructional planning, and Innovation Labs, spaces dedicated to the analysis and continuous improvement of educational practices. The goal is to move beyond a reactive approach and promote a proactive model focused on equity, student autonomy and pedagogical innovation. In addition, the project will develop a knowledge database to integrate principles of inclusion and accessibility into university curricula, contributing to more effective and high-quality teaching.
