Cultural Mission
The Laboratory of Economics and Management (LEM) was established in 2005. It is active in most areas of research in the field of economics and management, and its members adopt diverse perspectives ranging from theoretical to empirical research, quantitative to experimental methods, and case study analysis.
In addition, the LEM aims to respond to the labor market’s need for training by imparting to students enrolled in the Graduate Courses in Sports Economics and Management, all the necessary and useful teachings in order to one day occupy positions of management and responsibility in the world of work and particularly in the sports sector.

Research activities are mainly directed toward the observation and analysis of activities conducted by organizations operating in the field of sports and are carried out in groups that can rely on an extensive network of national and international collaborations.
ISO 26000 Toward Sustainable Development
This is the first major sustainability positioning project in accordance with the International Standard ISO26000, effectively representing the path of implementation of social reporting towards that of sustainability. The Federation since 2009 has successfully reported periodically on its activities through the various editions of the Social Report, and with this initiative has given further impetus to its commitment to sustainable development.
Antimicrobial activity of innovative materials: photocatalytic nanotechnologies in public health, sports facilites and physical activities
This is a project concerning masks used for individual protections within critical areas to defend against airborne diseases in order to impart greater antimicrobial resistance and lengthen their useful life in order to reduce their economic and ecological impact
