This event is organized at the conclusion of three years of work by a team of seven universities coordinated by the Universidad de La Murcia (Spain), in which the University of Rome’s “Foro Italico” Laboratory of Special Education and Pedagogy participated, funded by the Erasmus+ Sport program (now Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership Key Action 2 – KA2).
The main objective of the initiative is to emphasize the fundamental role of teacher education as an essential pillar in ensuring the quality of higher education. In a context characterized by the continuous evolution of higher education and emerging challenges, it becomes imperative to analyze how the effective integration of technology and innovation into pedagogical practices can improve teaching and learning processes.
The event is designed as an academic platform for critical dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration among experts, teachers and institutions. The intent is to foster the sharing of experiences, best practices and strategic approaches that promote the development of teaching skills in line with the needs of new educational scenarios.
In this context, the results of the Erasmus+ project will be presented. Innovation Lab, an initiative aimed at stimulating innovative teaching and learning practices in higher education. The project emphasizes the importance of constant reflection by lecturers on the quality of their teaching practices before the start of each course, considering aspects such as the skills acquired by students, the methodologies adopted and the assessment criteria applied. Similarly, it is essential that teachers strive to ensure that content, materials, activities and assessment systems are accessible to all students, thus promoting a truly inclusive and equitable education.
The event will be held in a hybrid format in Spanish, but will be simultaneously translated into English.
