Libraries Together. Convention between the Libraries of the 4 State Universities of Rome.

 

The Convention for reciprocity of library services between the University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Rome Tor Vergata, University of Rome Roma Tre and University of Rome “Foro Italico” has been signed, which provides for a mutual commitment by the Universities to ensure access to their library facilities to their respective institutional users according to the regulations in force in each University.

The library services provided by the University of Rome “Foro Italico” for institutional users of affiliated universities (hereinafter users) are:

  1. library access
    Users can access the library during the hours and according to the regulations in force in the University.
  2. onsite consultation
    Users can consult the University’s bibliographic and documentary holdings onsite in compliance with current regulations. A video magnifier for the visually impaired is available in the library. More information on the page “Accessing library services“.
  3. local lending
    Users, subject to current copyright regulations, may borrow:
    • female students and students of affiliated universities: maximum 3 documents for 15 days (the loan can be extended once for an additional 15 days);
    • teaching staff of contracted universities: maximum 5 documents for 30 days (the loan can be extended twice for a maximum of 60 days).

 

In case of failure to return documents at the end of the loan period, Users will be warned to return them through certified communication systems, the library will apply the sanctions provided for its users and simultaneously notify the home university.

Library services provided by affiliated universities for institutional users of the University of Rome “Foro Italico” are published on the following pages:

 

Students of the University of Rome “Foro Italico” will have to identify themselves by showing a valid identification document and a certificate of enrollment at their university, which can be downloaded from their reserved area in Esse3.

Doctoral students attending a PhD program at the University of Rome “Foro Italico” should identify themselves by showing a valid ID and doctoral card.
