  The University has since 2015 joined the agreement promoted by the CRUI Libraries Commission for consortium-wide subscription to bibliographic databases and electronic periodicals published by major academic publishers.
• SBN – National Library Service
  The University library participates in the National Library Service, the network of Italian libraries promoted by the Ministry of Culture. The library’s holdings flow into the SBN national collective catalog through the RMS Sapienza Pole and associated institutions. Identification code in the SBN registry: IT-RM0862
• ACNP-Italian Catalogue of Periodicals
  The University Library participates in ACNP, the Italian Catalogue of Periodicals designed and managed by the University of Bologna Libraries and Study Services Area. A filtered version of ACNP based on the holdings of the University of Rome “Foro Italico.” Identification code in ACNP: RM396
• NILDE-Network Inter-library Document Exchange
  The library is part of the NILDE circuit-Network Inter-Library Document Exchange-a cooperation network between Italian and Spanish libraries aimed at exchanging items in ways permitted by copyright law (L. 633/1941 as amended)
• UNICA
  Since 2020, the library has taken part in the activities of the Scholarly Communication Group of UNICA, the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe
• ICSSPE-International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education
  Since 2000, the library has been a member of ICSSPE, International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education, an organization that pursues an inclusive vision of sport, exercise science and physical education based on interdisciplinary collaboration.

In addition, the Library participates in two international projects for access and long-term preservation of scholarly literature in digital format, which have emerged from collaboration between scholarly publishers and libraries around the world: Portico e CLOCKSS. Both projects ensure that access to subscribed electronic resources can be restored in the event of catastrophic events or in situations of particular risk.
