The decree of the Ministry of University and Research for the allocation of Organic Points for 2024, in relation to staff terminations that occurred in 2023, was published yesterday.

In fact, the ministerial decree defines the criteria for the allocation and allocation to each state university institution of the spending quota available nationwide for the recruitment of permanent staff and fixed-term researchers for the year 2024.

The University of Rome “Foro Italico” achieved a turn over rate of 224 percent -a very good result.

“This extraordinary result is the result of a strategic choice that led the University’s top management to prudent planning on recruitment,” stresses Director General Dr. Lucia Colitti. “Students have always been at the center of our attention. For this reason, we have chosen to focus first on the recruitment of faculty and researchers to ensure efficient and quality teaching and research.”

Along the same lines is Rector Prof. Attilio Parisi, who points out that this investment has also led to “a tangible increase in the participation of our faculty and researchers in national and international cooperation projects.”

Thanks to this important recognition, the University of Rome Foro Italico will now also be able to invest in the expansion of the technical-administrative staff, which represents “the other side of the same coin,” being complementary to the faculty for the proper functioning of the University. “It means investing even more in the efficiency of services for teaching, research and the third mission,” the Director General concludes.
