GRANTS FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS AND ITALIAN CITIZENS LIVING ABROAD AWARDED BY THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT 

The Italian Government offers every year grants in favour of foreign citizens not residing in Italy and Italian citizens living abroad in order to foster international cultural, scientific and technological cooperation, to promote Italian language and culture and to support Italy’s economic system in the world (According to Law 288/55 and its subsequent changes and additions).

Grants are offered to pursue study, training, and/or research programs at Italian Higher Education Institutes, both public and legally recognised.

LAZIODISCO

As per our national and regional normative system aiming to support outstanding and lower income students in their studies, candidates to entrance competition for degree programs can participate to the selection procedure for assignment of scholarships, accommodations, financial contributions and contributions for learning experience in Italy and abroad. In order to benefit from the above, candidates will have to participate to the competition published by the Regional Laziodisu and apply online. 
Announcement of competition are published in www.laziodisco.it and also through a link in our university website in the page “Diritto allo Studio”. Those interested are invited to look at it. Candidates will be included in the DSU ranking list on a provisional admission until they enrol at the University of Roma “Foro Italico”.

STUDENT PAID COLLABORATIONS

The University offers enrolled students the opportunity to carry out paid collaboration in services intended for student users. Every year there are one or more calls for the assignment of collaboration contracts specifying terms and participation procedures. FULBRIGHT​ A.A. 2020-2021 (scadenza 12 dicembre 2019)

È disponibile sul sito http://www.fulbright.it/self-placed-all-disciplines/  il bando di concorso Fulbright Self-Placed All Disciplines per Master e Ph.D. Il bando mette a concorso 8 borse di studio della durata di 9 mesi (anno accademico) per un importo fino a $ 38,000; ciascuna borsa comprende un contributo aggiuntivo a copertura delle spese di viaggio tra Italia e Stati Uniti; l’assicurazione medica finanziata dallo U.S. Department of State e la sponsorizzazione del visto di ingresso  J-1.  Il bando si rivolge a giovani laureati italiani che abbiano richiesto autonomamente l’ammissione alle università statunitensi (Self-Placement) ed ha l’obiettivo di offrire agli stessi l’opportunità di frequentare percorsi di specializzazione post-laurea, Master e Ph.D. (Graduate Studies), presso le università statunitensi. Sono ammessi tutti gli ambiti disciplinari ad eccezione di programmi in Law per i quali esiste un bando Fulbright ad-hoc e programmi di specializzazione clinica nell’ambito della Medicina e Chirurgia, della Odontoiatria, della Medicina Veterinaria, della Psicologia e discipline affini che prevedano attività di tipo clinico.
